These kilims are made of an artificial silk which have the softness and rich color of silk, which is interwoven with cotton and wool. They are made with a wide variety of design motifs and colors, varying from subtle hues to bright and vivid colors and are softer and more pliable than their wool and cotton cousins. These kilims are characterized by a more complex design motif featuring the diamond patterns and animal symbols common to Berber weavings.
