Tuareg Swords

This is an absolutely exquisite piece; because of the dangerous conditions in the Sahara, the Tuareg put a lot of faith in their weapons, demanding excellence as well as beauty from their craftsmen.

The sword is finely worked in hand-chased silver with a carnelian set in the top of the hilt; the scabbard is of chased silver and hand- stamped and hand-dyed leather also set with carnelian stone at the bottom tip of the scabbard.
